Yes — only 4% left to go!

We’re up to 96% completion before code freeze — and ALL CODING IS COMPLETE.

Implementation is GONE

So there are 4 audits ongoing and there is only testing and documentation left. 4 audits will obviously slow things down but a major milestone has passed. This is amazing news — congratulations to the team for delivering the protocol code! The % hasn’t been once a week now for quite some time, so I don’t expect the last 4% to be complete for at least 6 weeks. Still, the fact the code is ‘in the can’ as it were means we can look forward to the first RTokens and staking— maybe too late to catch Q3 but certainly Q4 this year.

*caveat* staking return will be very low initially until we get traction in RToken Mcap.

Just for fun I went and looked for the earliest version of the dashboard I have — and it’s 71% from EARLY MARCH :

Let’s hope the audits find little wrong and testing goes according to plan as much as possible. It’s software development, so you can always get a spanner in the works this late on.

So we re-entered the world of the invitation on the 10th — for reasons slightly vague (see next topic), so no surprise to see a slowing of users this week.

Here’s the announcement stolen from the articles page and translated :

So no concrete news as yet on why they’re slowing growth — couple of thoughts I had were potentially a new way of onboarding new users which is more generic — maybe a back end process upgrade, or maybe some changes to the support system (optimize efforts) which is slow to transition but once up and running will be more efficient. I’m sure we’ll hear soon. The other possibility is of course that some additional products could be brought into the App. Obviously not RTokens yet.

I didn’t quite catch all the Rangers Day tweets as they mostly came in later that I wrote the last article but there were loads of people in attendance.

Also, Reserve will be attending all the Latin America ETH events

So Reserve are promoting themselves at ETH events — which will raise the profile and hopefully get people thinking about RTokens and also building dApps on top of the protocol.

Also, they’re creating POAPs — proof of attendance protocol (NFTs to you)

More presentations by the crypto club to raise levels of understanding about crypto.
